With street lights. I use the camera's built-in flash, nikon 85 1.8d lens and portra 400NC. I stood about ten feet away from a group of 3- 4 people.
Indistinguishable from new. No marks at all. Cosmetically perfect. Installed batteries, film and lens and worked as per the manual. I checked that it auto focusses with a Tamron 70-300 (macro) lens. Just taken some shots using a Jessops 360AFD flash on camera. Worked automatically. I have a Nikon F55 and this camera, the F80, is reported to be compatible with modern on camera flashes as just tested. It is also compatible with Nikon AF S lenses as well as Nikon AF D. The F55 does not autofocus with AF S lenses. On a cosmetic note, I prefer the black body of the F80 to the silver front of the F55.
The controls and options on the F80 are much closer to my Nikon digital SLR's than those of the F55.
